Meet Your Reader
My name is Julia D.
I'm a Lebanese-American mom with ADHD, described by others as endearingly brash with an abundance of big Mom energy. Younger coworkers frequently joke that my table is "where everyone gets read to filth then breaks down in emotional tears." I see people for who they truly are, and use this to help clients become the best versions of themselves.
My advice is creative and practical; my messages from Spirit are one-of-a-kind and unique, as opposed to generic expressions of love and pride. My goal is to help people rediscover their own light and magic, and strengthen their inner voice.

Why I Stand Out
With my love for sequins and bold colors, it's always been hard for me to blend in with a crowd. I got that from my Grandmama, along with her big curls and even bigger personality. Thankfully, she also gave me an abundance of charisma and a warm heart.
I create my art with intention, capturing a likeness of appearance and personality. I love to explore color. Some of my happiest childhood moments were spent in my Nana's art studio, working with her and my grandfather.
I am LGBTQIA+ aligned and gender affirming; there is no room for hate at my table. I have clients all over the world, so my tools reflect cultural diversity and sensitivity.
I am kind, but honest. I don't tell clients what they want to hear. I tell them what they NEED to hear. I provide clarity without cutting anyone down.

Past & Present Work
Since 2022, I have spent my Octobers working in Salem MA for the annual psychic faire associated with Hex (formerly Omen). In August 2024, I began my year-round career at Women of Wisdom in Easton MA, providing weekly readings and teaching classes.
I collaborate with peers from all over the United States, traveling to read and teach and serve. Most recently, I traveled to Akron OH to provide Spirit Art for a dinner event hosted at The Venue.
In 2023 and 2024, I was invited to read at the annual Witches' Ball in Salem MA, held at the historic (and haunted!) Hawthorne Hotel. In June 2024, I was hired by Grubhub to provide private readings at a virtual event for their employees. For two years in a row now, a coworker and I have been asked to read at an event for recent high school grads. For these events, I worked in 5-10 minute increments to ensure that everyone could receive guidance.

My Teaching Philosophy
Teaching has always been at the core of my identity. With a teaching degree and years of classroom experience (plus a little help from Spirit!), I have a firm grasp on education theory, classroom management, and best practices.
While some people might have inherent abilities or begin with an advantage, true skill and understanding comes from focused learning and practice. My work emphasizes hands-on experiences, and encourages the joy of lifelong learning.
I am comfortable working with all sizes of groups and classes, from 1:1 tutoring and small group instruction to large group lectures and in-depth discussions.
